David, co-founder of HexaTex, has worked in education for over twenty years in the North West of England. He has gained a wide range of experience as a teacher and subject leader in secondary schools and more recently as a Teaching and Learning Advisor in Liverpool L.A. He is an accredited NCSL School Improvement Partner and he has been employed by John Moores University in their postgraduate programmes. He has delivered CPD to teachers locally, regionally and nationally as an expert in innovative teaching and learning. He is passionate about the power of coaching with video and the transformative effect it can have on the practice of teachers in the classroom. David is also an Osiris OTI trainer.
Marian, co-founder of HexaTex, has worked in education for over thirty years in the South and North West of England. She has gained a wide range of experience as a teacher and subject leader in secondary schools and more recently as a Senior School Improvement Officer and External Monitor across Merseyside. She is an accredited NCSL School Improvement Partner, with an excellent understanding of the Ofsted framework. In recent years Marian has developed a high degree of expertise in coaching and mentoring, helping teachers to improve their practice. She has a keen awareness of the needs of the learners. Her professionalism motivates teachers and helps to guarantee impact.
Phil has worked in education for over thirty years in the North West of England. He has gained a wide range of experience as a teacher and subject leader in secondary schools and as a Key Stage 3 Strategy Consultant in Wirral L.A. More recently he has been the Head of Secondary ITT at Liverpool John Moores University. He has delivered both accredited and non-accredited CPD to teachers at all levels as an expert in learning, teaching and assessment. As a keen and highly experienced practitioner and researcher he has a sharply focused awareness of how teachers can identify and develop their own capacity to improve their own classroom practice. Teachers find his approach and support highly motivating and, subsequent to the end of their training, many choose to continue to collaborate with him in developing innovative practice.
